New Content on Marketing Help For Coaches

I hope that the last month has been good for you, it's certainly been eventful for me - for example, being nominated for an 'Inspirational Woman' award, talking to Radio Five Live, and being interviewed for a feature in a new personal development magazine (watch this space!).

I've also been kept very business in my own coaching practice, with lots of people who had been teetering on the edge of decision-making at the end of last year, coming on board as clients.

There's a lot to tell you about this month, including a change to the law that could impact on your practice, so grab yourself a couple of minutes to read on!

Warm wishes,

Hannah

Book Reviews

The BIG question: Niche Marketing For Coaches - is it any good? Find out what people have been saying about Hannah's new book. Here's one of our favourite quotes from Marie-Louise Cook, editor of Personal Success magazine: "it is so useful that it should be superglued into the hands of every graduating coach."

Download - Making The Case For Coaching

One of the problems of Marketing a service is that it's intangible - people can't see it or touch it. And that leads onto the next problem - how do you persuade clients that coaching works? Asking someone to invest in a service that is intangible and (in their eyes) unproven is hard.

So what can you do? You need to have facts, figures and quotes to back you up. There is a wealth of information available that will help you to make the case for coaching - the difficulty is in finding it. This month, we've taken that burden away by pulling together some links to recent articles about coaching, and they are available as a Members-Only download.

Persuasion and Negotiation Skills 1-Day Workshop -

Being able to confidently discuss your rates, your terms and how you'll be working with clients is a crucial skill to have, especially if you're coaching people in organisations. This is also an area that causes butterflies in the tummies of many coaches (myself included when I first started!).

Thankfully, my business partner and mentor Patrick White is a very skilled businessman who has worked on negotiations ranging from international multi-million pound deals to negotiating his speaking and consultancy rates with SME clients. On Thursday 19th April, Patrick will be running a 1-Day Workshop on Persuasion and Negotiation Skills in London and I would strongly encourage you to attend. (Yes, I will be there too!)

The day is suitable for people at all stages of building their practice.

It's £577+VAT and includes workbooks and exercises to help you to discover your inner Marketer! You can find out more and read success stories from coaches who have been through the programme on www.MarketingHelpForCoaches.com.
